Pharmaceutical Polymers used for Tablet coating
Polymer
A polymer is a large molecule, or macromolecule, composed of many related subunits, known as monomers. Polymers range fromvfamiliar synthetic plastics such as polystyrene to natural biopolymers such as DNA and propiens that are fundamental to biological structure and function. In the majority of film-coating formulations, the polymer is the major ingredient.
